What is a Bacaro?
Bácaro is named after the bustling taverns of Venice, they are typically a great meeting place for friends and represent a wonderfully relaxed, convivial and back to basics environment devoid of the pretentious trappings of modern dining. A place where the hectic modern lifestyle can be left far far behind ... whilst in its place ... laughter & merriment, socialising and good times.
At a Bácaro guests traditionally enjoy an 'ombretta' (a glass of wine) from simple tumblers with some 'cicheto'. Cicheto is derived from the Latin word 'ciccus meaning 'littlest quantity', and Bácaro is derived from the word 'Bacchus' which is the God of wine and intoxication.

The design
Influence in design and offering has been taken from many different areas, one key area is that of the Bacaro Bars of Venice - whilst interior aspects blend industrial with natural materials like stone and mixed wood.
Bacaro for Business
In the immediate vicinity we serve the companies of the Celtic Springs and Cleppa Business Parks, within their respective industries their typically dynamic and visionary values are continually pushing boundaries further to help re-write the rule book. Bacaro is the social hub for these businesses and the people that work there; a place to meet for commerce and socially, somewhere relaxed, somewhere professional.
Bacaro for Home (Retail)
We work with companies within the food and retail industry, organisations who share the same core values and desire to provide fantastic products to the consumer. Those who refine and re-invent, continually analysing their markets to ensure that what they manufacture are goods and technologies that will ensure their clients can offer their own customers the very best.
Our founder
Since starting out in the world of commerce our founder David Pell has been blessed to earn some recognition during his career infancy for business vision and professional attitude displayed as one of the UK's new breed of Young Entrepreneurs.
Whilst previously at The White Hart Village Inn in Llangybi he was awarded Best Newcomer for Wales in the first 12 months there, in the second year (2009) The AA placed the business in its list of the Top 300 Pubs in the UK, The Morning Advertiser (the industry's leading publication) invited them to join their exclusive membership within an exclusive group called the 'Freehouse 500' whilst the general public voted them as being in the Top 10 in Wales for two consecutive years for 'Gary Rhodes' Local Food Hero' competition on the Good Food Channel.
Importantly, part of this award-winning team continues alongside him at Bacaro.
